No to piracy!
Software piracy is a real problem. It is always the "pirate" the one feeling that is the most clever or that is the one who really knows.
Microsoft found a way to show what can happen in a n interesting way. Look at this video
I hope Microsoft will make a version of this video that could be embedded in a blog. I think it is missing now a video with the benefits of using original software.
Thanks Boris for the link!

Good source of information
Some time ago I was a subscriber of their magazine. It was a really good resource.
Technology Review publishes many great articles and videos on their web site. I advise you to visit them.

Good article from Flickr founder
In the past months I got the chance to read some interviews and listen some podcasts to important and active personalities of the Web.
All of them had something in common: They are thinking on the Human Nature, they are trying to answer: What is the trigger for capturing the attention of the people?
In many cases the answer was on empowering the individual to express with creativity.
This article is worth to read.

Yahoo messenger for Windows Vista
Windows Vista is in the spot of many critics and enthusiasts. For sure there is a big expectation about the power of the OS.
From one side is the new interface and from the other the new possibilities that Vista offers for developers. One of the new application I see is the Yahoo Messenger for Windows Vista. It looks great!
You can find more information in Yahoo!

It is not only super cool, it is Kuler!
Today I received the Edge newsletter from Adobe. It includes really great topics but today one of them really means a lot for my work. They made a web tool called Kuler and its purpose is to help designers, developers and web masters to get color schemes. Yes... this is very important if you need to combine colors and that the whole thing will look good!
You will be able to see many color schemes that some other persons already prepared! you can download them and use them like part of Adobe products!
Give a check.. I'm sure you will be amazed!

iMovie basic training
Lately I'm working very hard with iMovie HD for making some videos for a customer.
The product comes with a series of interesting tools, effects, transitions and technologies. I find it good for family videos if talking about the product out of the box. But actually become very powerful if enhanced with software designed for iMovie HD.
You can find a free training guide (I really advise it... it would save me some time if I would know about it some weeks ago) like part of the free training that the Shireland Language College (Birmingham, UK) publishes on their web site.

Amazon Web services
If you are thinking in to use a solid infrastructure for web services then you need to know that Amazon is offering to developers their technological platform. On the web site you can get really good information.
Those web services, from hosting until e-commerce, are the same technological platform than the one Amazon.com uses for their web sites. So this is something serious and working very good!

The Enchanted Office
Yesterday night my friend Andrej sent me the link to a brilliant way to engage people with information. It is a Comic! that explains benefits of a new version of the Office. Normally a presentation for a new product would be boring, dry and of course "product oriented". In this case you can get some of the benefits of the new version with a funny story.
Uh... and one thing more... do you want to know what happened with Clippy?? (The old Office help wizard?)
