I found on Silke's blog a post about an interesting tool that can transform text into speech. It's name is TextAloud. It can work also with AT&T Natural Voices: http://www.naturalvoices.att.com/demos/

Hi. You probably know this but just to point out: Adobe Reader has also built-in functionality for text-to-speech. When viewing a document under "View" you can find "Read out loud"
Thanks Boris that is good to know... Is Adobe reader different than Acrobat reader?
